PPG Travel Blog – Pakistan/Dubai – November 2016

Dr. Mary Lackie, Vice Chancellor for University Advancement & Executive Director of the University of Arkansas Fort Smith Foundation and UAFS Foundation Senior Director of Major & Planned Gifts/PPG Founder Rodney O. Parks recently traveled to Lahore Pakistan to work with the alumni and advancement staff of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). We reviewed the positions, structure and processes of their alumni and fundraising departments as well as delivering training as some immediate needs were identified. We will be delivering a SWOT analysis of these departments in the first quarter of 2017.

 

24th Annual Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Parks Professional Group Founder Rodney O. Parks has volunteered over the past 13 years with the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame (ABHOF) and its foundation.  Over the past 12 years,  ABHOF has awarded more than $480,000 through its annual grant program.  The grants have had impact in 54 of 75 counties in Arkansas.  The ABHOF Foundation aims to provide an environment in which future generations of African American achievers with Arkansas roots will thrive and succeed.  The ABHOF honors the contributions of African Americans through its annual ABHOF induction ceremony, and awards grants to support charitable endeavors in the African American community.  Learn more at www.arblackhalloffame.org.
